Tips for a Perfect
Festival Day

Getting Here & Getting Started

Take Hwy 400 North to Barrie-Bayfield Street. Continue north on Bayfield (County Road #27) for 20 km. Turn at the road to Wasaga Beach (County Rd. #92/Queen St.), and welcome to Elmvale!

Once you arrive, stop by the Sugar Shack, located just inside the Elmvale Arena gates. Pick up your Festival Guide, ask questions, visit Lost & Found, or catch the free shuttle to the Sugar Bush, generously sponsored by Tim & Peggy Lalonde.

Accessibility & Comfort

We want everyone to enjoy the Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival! Accessible parking is available in the Community Hall parking lot, with accessible entrances at the Elmvale Arena and the side of the Community Hall. The Arena also offers elevator access to refreshments on the upper level.

Need a break from the elements? Head inside to warm up and browse indoor vendors. If you need assistance, look for our friendly volunteers in bright orange vests!

What to Pack & Wear

April weather can be unpredictable, so dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes for exploring the village and Sugar Bush. Bring a reusable tote for your market finds and some cash for the Pancake House (an ATM is available at the Elmvale Arena).

While dogs are welcome, we recommend leaving your furry friends at home for their comfort and safety in the busy festival crowds.

Parking Details

Local schools and churches generously offer parking on their properties during the festival. Look for clearly marked Special Event Parking lots and follow the directions of our friendly volunteer parking guides. Parking locations are also identified on the online Festival Map.

Please note: Springwater Township strictly enforces no-parking and tow-away zones on the west side of Amelia Street, south side of Stone Street, and north side of William Street. These areas will be clearly marked, so please watch for signage.

Accessible parking is available at the Elmvale Community Hall parking lot. If you need assistance, our volunteers are happy to help!
